In a meeting held under the Chairmanship of Mr.DPSKharbanda, IAS, CEO, Invest Punjab and MD, PSIEC at Udyog Bhawan Chandigarh on 26.12.2023, issues related to Punjab Infotech and PSIEC were taken up and discussed.
A memorandum was handed over to Mr.DPS Kharbanda, IAS and Madam Baldeep Kaur, IAS, MD PSIEC by S.Baljit Singh, President Mohali Industries Association, Dr.PJSingh, Chairman CII Punjab and S.R.S.Sachdeva, Chairman, PHD Chamber Punjab.
S.Baljit Singh shared Issue related to 50% unearned increase clause in some lease deeds of Eltop Indl area phase 8 mohali allottees and provision of land by the State government at no profit rates for tiny industries operating from rented sheds for 10-15years. S.P.J.Singh, Chairman, CII Punjab took up issues related to Bifurcation of plots in indl area to be allowed and the 5 year time period for completion of hotel/hospital/institutions in Indl plots be removed.
S.R.S.Sachdeva, Chairman, Punjab Chapter, PHD Chamber Chandigarh took up issue related to industry.
Shri A R Chaudhry, President Chanalon Association took up the issue of separate power grid for Chanalon Indl Area and Plot for Association office.Representatives from DBIA were also present.
Shri DPS Kharbanda assured the industrialists that the issues will be resolved within the given time frame.
