Officiating President Principal Budh Ram and Cabinet Minister Lal Chand Kataruchakk welcome new members to the party

The Aam Aadmi Party got a boost in the Majha area of Punjab on Tuesday when a number of prominent figures of Pathankot and Gurdaspur joined the party officially. The AAP Punjab officiating President Principal Budh Ram and Cabinet Minister Lal Chand Kataruchakk inducted new members to the party and officially welcomed them with party mufflers.
In a press conference, Dr K. D. Singh, an eye specialist, Advocate Bhanu Pratap Singh, Satish Mahindru, Ramesh Kumar, Neelam Ghuman (state general secretary of Democratic Women Organisation) and Gurdial Singh Ghuman, who is former state youth leader of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Naujwan Sabha and currently active with Agriculture and Unorganised Labour Union, joined the Aam Aadmi Party.
Along with MLA Budh Ram and Minister Kataruchakk, Jagroop Singh Sekhwan (AAP Punjab General Secretary) and MLA Amansher Singh Sherry Kalsi (Batala) were also present to welcome new leaders to the AAP family.
Principal Budh Ram said that the wide experience of all these leaders will be helpful to the party. He added that the people of Punjab are fully satisfied with the policies and the performance of the Mann government. The faith and love that people shower on us everyday is proof that our efforts to make Punjab 'Rangla' again are going in the right direction.
