Announces Rs 05 lakh grant for the development works of village Kubbaheri

Kharar/ SAS Nagar, July 26, 2023:

Cabinet Minister Anmol Gagan Mann while handing over cheques  of financial assistance to the flood victims of various villages of her constituency Kharar at Kubbaheri village said that the Punjab government was committed to compensate the loss due to floods to provide solace to  people in  distress time.
       On this occasion, Monetary assistance of Rs 50,000 was given to Vijay Kumar son of Satpal Singh, Rs 01 lakh to Satnam Singh son of Sajjan Singh, Rs 01 lakh to Gurmail Singh Khizrabad, Rs 01 lakh to Meena from Majri, Rs 01 lakh to Bahadur Singh son of Avtar Singh from Kubbaheri and Rs Rs 50,000 to Angrez Kaur wife Surjit Singh.
     Promising to fulfil the demands put forth by the residents of Kubbaheri village including repair work related to the gate of the village, the boundary wall of the crematorium, the work of culverts,  installation of solar lights, removal of the high voltage line above the people's houses, the boring of tubewell, the Cabinet Minister announced to give Rs 05 lakh from her discretionary fund.


     The cabinet minister said that the Punjab government was  in the process of giving Rs 04 lakh each to the families of the people who lost their lives in the floods and soon this amount will reach the accounts of the victims' families.
      While action is being taken by the Punjab government to compensate for the crops damaged due to floods, at the same time steps are being taken quickly to compensate for the loss of life due to floods, she said by adding that although the loss caused by the death of any family member cannot be compensated,  but to express solidarity with grief stricken families some relief can be given to the family as humble tribute.


      The Cabinet Minister said that the cases regarding the completion of 104 kachcha houses of the constituency have been approved and soon the benefit will be given to the needy persons.
       It is worth mentioning that in helping the flood victims, social worker Manmohan Singh has made a big contribution, which the Cabinet Minister fully appreciated.
       Among others present there included SDM Kharar Ravinder Singh, Dinesh Majri, Amandeep, Ajaib Majri, Saudagar Kubbaheri, Gurinder Singh Sarpanch, Jaspreet Singh Sarpanch, Gurdev Singh Sarpanch, Jagdeep Singh Sarpanch, Sukhdev Singh Panch, Goldy, Jaggi, Mangi Khijrabad, Sukha Kubbaheri and a large number of villagers.
